The microfarm today
I run a small-scale microfarm, regenerative and permaculture-inspired in its approach — a place to experiment with ecological design and small-scale automation on a manageable scale, while learning what it actually takes to grow food well and sustainably.
The workshop
Alongside the farm, I use a home workshop with CNC and laser-cutting tools to build farm equipment and the occasional project just for fun — bringing the same builder's mindset from my research background into day-to-day farm life.
Where I'm headed
The microfarm is a start, not the destination. My hope is to eventually own and operate a larger farm here in Wainfleet — and a lot of what shows up in my agtech work and my platform as a Council candidate comes directly from that goal: making it realistically possible for someone like me to get there.
